Latest ·Council also changed the site's comprehensive-plan designation to Medium Density Residential. The amended zoning action passed 11–0.
The action caps acquisition and related site costs at $2.34 million. It authorizes a purchase, not a completed closing.
The funding concerns 100 units for low-income, formerly homeless individuals under HUD's Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation program.
The grant is described as payable over four years. The ordinance also authorizes funding for staff to administer and oversee it.
The 12–0 action permits an extension of up to six months through March 31, 2027, with Meridian Urban Joint Venture.
The permit concerns a nonresidential establishment exceeding 7,500 square feet where alcohol is sold or consumed on premises.
The authorization covers six agreements from Oct. 15 through Feb. 14, 2027. Adoption does not establish executed contract amendments.

The same request also appears on the Oct. 8 agenda. Neither listing establishes approval or cancellation of the October review.
The request covers a 0.213-acre rezoning parcel at 432 Inman Street SW. Zoning Review Board consideration is scheduled for Oct. 8.
The ordinance expires 180 days after becoming effective immediately upon approval. The delivered record does not establish a calendar expiration date.
The recommended substitute carries a $27.22 million additional-funding ceiling. A prior 90-day extension moved the agreements’ expiration to Oct. 14.
The proposed lease would retain city detention space for up to 50 years. Its nominal amount does not establish the cost of housing and caring for detainees.
The proposal caps the land price at $2 million and total purchase-related costs at $2.34 million, with the land to remain a public park permanently.
Water and sewer repairs exhausted existing paving funds, the resolution says. The amendment would raise the contract ceiling to $15.61 million.

The adopted resolution also seeks quarterly follow-ups, but leaves the first segment, construction phasing and implementation timeline undecided.
The $4.91 million proposal would continue Meridian Urban's services month to month while Atlanta completes a replacement procurement.
The Oct. 8 agenda lists Subarea 3 for the same 0.39-acre request. The records do not explain the conflicting designations or establish approval.
Remaining speakers would be heard after the ceremonies. The held measure is listed for the Oct. 5 Committee on Council meeting.
The request goes to Fulton and DeKalb election boards and excludes elections that are solely Atlanta special or general elections.
The supporting resolution attributes the overpayment to gross receipts that included deductible subcontractor payments. The recommendation does not establish payment.
The held ordinance would also apply beer-and-wine package-store distance rules to Class B locations and require machines to remain in plain view.
The proposed terms would let the city restrict or close access for aviation needs. Valuation and FAA language remain blank in the supporting draft.
The November agenda seeks a building height of 37 feet 4 inches instead of 35 feet. The previously deferred wall request is also scheduled for Nov. 5.
September records listed three-foot side setbacks. The Nov. 5 agenda also lists a coverage variance; the records do not explain the differences.
The request covers most of Fountain Drive and Morris Brown Drive south of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. It does not itself designate a landmark.
