Atlanta amusement-machine proposal would cap Class B machines at six per business

Atlanta's proposed amusement-machine rules would prohibit businesses from offering more than six Class B machines at one location. Ordinance 26-O-1479 remained held in the Finance/Executive Committee on Sept. 30.

Businesses offering Class B machines would face the distance restrictions applicable to package stores selling beer or wine, but not distilled spirits, under city code Section 10-88.1. Both Class A and Class B machines would have to remain in plain view and accessible to people at the business.
