Atlanta City Council approved a four-month extension of six watershed architectural, engineering, design and construction-management agreements Oct. 5. Draft action minutes record an 11–0 vote on the substitute for ordinance 26-O-1536.

The authorization specifies Oct. 15, 2026, through Feb. 14, 2027, and up to $27,222,427.19 in additional aggregate funding across the six agreements. It authorizes the mayor or a designee to execute amendments on behalf of Watershed Management; the recorded adoption is not evidence that those amendments have been executed.
