Powder Springs City Council approved a density exception on Oct. 5 for a Macedonia Road plan proposing 242 apartments, allowing more homes per acre than the normal limit of eight for the site. Council also approved annexation and mixed-use zoning for roughly 10.1 acres at 2761 Macedonia Road, near Ernest Barrett Parkway.
