A September 28 Powder Springs report finds that the current plan for the proposed development at 2761 Macedonia Road provides enough commercial parking for its envisioned 2,500-square-foot restaurant and 2,500 square feet of retail. After the mixed-use district's permitted reduction, the report calculates a 26.181-space minimum; the applicant proposes 27 commercial spaces.

Staff nevertheless recommend requiring the minimum to be calculated from the commercial uses actually proposed, with any restaurant space counted at one parking space per 125 square feet. The finding concerns the mix now shown on the plan, not approval of a final mix or adoption of the recommended condition.
