Chattahoochee Hills City Council unanimously approved an agritourism regulation amendment with recommended changes and Planning Commission recommendations, according to draft action minutes. The vote concerned Item 26-061; a separately listed definition amendment, Item 26-060, failed for lack of a motion.

The commission’s package called for barring agritourism on properties smaller than three acres in the RL district and setting simultaneous-visitor limits by farm size. Those limits ranged from 10 visitors on farms larger than three acres through four acres to 100 on farms larger than 30 acres. The commission also recommended requiring documentation of active agricultural production—not merely allowing the zoning administrator to request it.

The action minutes do not reproduce the final ordinance. The commission’s schedule leaves the treatment of exactly-three-acre farms unclear, and the approval summary does not explain how its recommended definition changes were handled after Item 26-060 failed. The action date also remains unresolved: the draft’s header says October 1, 2026, while its footer says October 6.
