Chattahoochee Hills' recommended agritourism amendment would remove farm stands from the definition's list of activities and define agritourism as visitor-serving activities on an actively farmed property that are incidental to and supportive of its primary agricultural use. The Planning Commission's proposed changes are included in the October 6 Council packet.

Those definition changes accompany the commission's recommended acreage restrictions and visitor caps, including disallowing agritourism on Rural-district properties smaller than three acres. Item 26-061 is scheduled for Council consideration October 6 at 6:30 p.m.; the materials present a recommendation for consideration, not an adopted Council rule.
