The applicant behind The Yard Gym’s special-use permit proposal at 340 East Paces Ferry Road NE, Suite 5A, has asked for a delay. In a Nov. 5 staff memo, Atlanta’s Department of City Planning supports the request and recommends a 30-day deferral to December 2026.[1][2]
The permit case is listed for the Zoning Review Board’s Nov. 5 meeting, scheduled for 6 p.m. in the second-floor Council Chambers at City Hall. A separate Dec. 3 agenda also lists the same case for a meeting at 6 p.m. in those chambers.[3][4]
Staff’s recommendation and the December listing do not establish that the board has granted the postponement or approved the proposed commercial-recreation use. The memo gives no reason for the requested delay.[1][4]
