The Yard Gym permit review hits a 30-day pause

The Nov. 5 marked agenda records the postponement; the special-use request is listed again for Dec. 3.

Atlanta’s Zoning Review Board recorded a 30-day deferral for The Yard Gym’s special-use permit request at 340 East Paces Ferry Road NE, Suite 5A, on its Nov. 5 marked agenda.[1][2]

The entry follows the applicant’s request for a delay, which we previously reported. A Nov. 5 city planning memo supports that request but gives no reason for the postponement.[3]

The same case, U-26-15, is listed on the board’s Dec. 3 agenda for a meeting at 6 p.m. in City Hall’s second-floor Council Chambers.[4]

NPU B recommended approval, according to the marked agenda. But the board’s recorded disposition is a deferral—not approval of the proposed commercial-recreation use. The December agenda also establishes a scheduled consideration, not permission to operate.[1][4]
