No one checking in? Fulton County offers free well checks for seniors

Chattahoochee Hills is pointing residents 60 and older to the service. The county flyer lists a direct contact but leaves the timing and format unspecified.

Chattahoochee Hills’ October 9, 2026, city manager newsletter highlights a county service for older residents who lack someone checking in: free, periodic well checks through Fulton County Senior Services.[1][2]

The county’s flyer addresses Fulton County residents age 60 and older who are experiencing isolation and do not have a loved one checking on them. To ask about the service, contact La Tanya D. Walker at 404-612-7188 or email seniorservices@fultoncountyga.gov.[2]

The flyer does not say whether checks happen by phone or in person, how often they occur or how enrollment is handled. Those are details to ask the office before making arrangements.[2]

For broader help, the county’s STARLine offers free information and referrals for adults 55 and older, their families and caregivers. Its referral categories include home-delivered meals, caregiving, transportation and minor home repair. Call 404-613-6000 to speak with a specialist Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.[3]
