Atlanta weighs $7.19 million for another year of airport shuttles

The proposed renewal covers service linking the domestic and international terminals and Rental Car Center. Most of the ceiling is for reimbursable operations—not the management fee.

Atlanta’s Transportation Committee is scheduled Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. to consider a $7.19 million, one-year renewal for the airport shuttles connecting Hartsfield-Jackson’s domestic and international terminals and Rental Car Center.[1]

Resolution 26-R-4267 would authorize an agreement with A-National Limousine Service, Inc., for ConnectATL Shuttle Services from Oct. 29, 2026, through Oct. 28, 2027. It would exercise the single one-year renewal option in an agreement that had an initial two-year term, rather than award a new shuttle contract.[1]

The money has two distinct purposes: up to $350,000 for management and up to $6.84 million for reimbursable operations. Both would come from the Airport Revenue Fund. The $7.19 million total is a proposed spending ceiling—not a bill already paid or a management fee of that size.[1]

The packet lists the renewal as pending, not approved or signed. Even if authorized, the agreement would not bind Atlanta until legal approval, mayoral execution, clerk attestation and delivery to the contractor are complete.[1]
