Terry Porter, an Alpharetta staff member whose work has included Alpha Loop plantings and Rivers Alive volunteer coordination, plans to retire Nov. 9 after 26 years of service.[1][2][3]

The Natural Resources Commission recognized Porter at its Oct. 20 meeting, according to the city’s action summary. Alpharetta labels that summary a convenience document rather than an official record of proceedings.[1]

A commission overview credits Public Works’ Porter and ADP with installing plants along the Alpha Loop. The commission’s September work-session summary also records her recruiting project leaders for Rivers Alive, which was scheduled for Oct. 17 at Rock Mill Park.[2][3]
