Atlanta’s Zoning Review Board recommends giving the applicant seeking to rezone 460 and 478 Decatur Street SE another 30 days, following a request for more time to work with the neighborhood planning unit. The board’s recommendation appears on its Oct. 8 marked agenda.[1][2]

High Street Atlanta Development, Inc. seeks mixed residential-commercial zoning for the 2.537-acre site, replacing its light-industrial designation while keeping the Beltline Overlay. Neighborhood Planning Unit M and city planning staff also recommended a delay.[1]

Staff proposes a return in November. Its memo does not identify the issues still being worked out with the neighborhood planning unit or name a hearing date. The board’s recommendation is for postponement, not approval of the zoning change.[1][2]
