A proposed two-year permit renewal for the food-truck park at 3982 Austell Powder Springs Road in Powder Springs, Georgia, would allow up to five trucks, subject to additional approvals, and prohibit alcohol sales.[1][2]

Those are proposed terms—not a confirmed Council decision. Murrell White’s renewal request, case PZ 26-039, was listed for the November 2 Council public hearing. The motion memorandum dated that day describes conditions that would apply if Council approved it; the records reviewed do not establish whether Council approved the renewal or amended those terms.[2][3][4]

We previously reported the renewal request and hearing schedule. White’s application says he wants to continue operating his food truck with “No changes.” The memorandum lays out the proposed operating conditions for a two-year renewal, with another application required before expiration.[1][2][4][5]

Food service would come only from food trucks whose providers have city licenses and health-department approval. Amplified-sound events would need individual city temporary-event permits. The proposal would bar temporary-event approval while code-enforcement violations remained open; that provision does not establish that any violations currently exist.[2]

Overnight truck storage would be confined to approved, marked areas at 3982 Austell Powder Springs Road, with none allowed at 3980. White would also have to submit a parking-lot restriping plan for city review and mark customer parking with signs.[2]
