Chattahoochee Hills staff are asking City Council to approve a police compensation and retention plan covering 14 current full-time positions and two additional officer positions. Item 26-063 is scheduled for consideration October 6 at 6:30 p.m.; the materials describe a proposal, not an approval.

Annual base payroll for the existing 14 positions would rise from $894,269.50 to $975,500, an increase of $81,230.50, or about 9.08%. Two additional probationary officers at $60,000 each would bring the proposed base payroll for 16 positions to $1,095,500. The added positions would support the department's goal of staffing each shift with a supervisor and two officers.
