Atlanta’s Zoning Committee unanimously recommended Sept. 28 assigning zoning to 15 properties along Second Avenue and Fayetteville Road upon annexation into the city. Ordinance 26-O-1349, zoning case Z-26-42, concerns eight Second Avenue properties in Decatur and seven Fayetteville Road properties listed in Atlanta.

Ten sites—eight on Second Avenue and two on Fayetteville Road—would receive community-business zoning. Four other Fayetteville Road properties would receive single-family residential zoning and one office-institutional zoning. The minutes list Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. as the next checkpoint; the committee recommendation does not itself annex the properties or enact the zoning assignments.
