Local brief
Oct. 26 council meeting canceled; Wills Lane plan listed for Nov. 16
There will be no Monday council hearing on the three-lot proposal, which seeks smaller side setbacks and a street without curbs or sidewalks.
Residents following the proposed subdivision at 350 Wills Lane should not plan on an Oct. 26 City Council hearing. Alpharetta has canceled that evening’s council meeting, and its cancellation notice says the applicant deferred the rezoning and variance requests to Nov. 16, 2026.[1]
Nov. 16 was already listed in our September report on the three-lot proposal. The cancellation notice confirms that council listing; it does not record approval of the project.[1]
The plan would divide 4.98 acres into three detached single-family lots. Case Z-26-07 seeks to change the zoning from agricultural to for-sale residential.[1]
The associated variance request, V-26-15, seeks to reduce side setbacks from 25 feet to 15 feet and allow a local street without curbs or sidewalks. Those remain requests, not permissions granted by this notice.[1]
