21 North Main plan postponed ahead of Nov. 11 zoning meeting

The applicant postponed the 50,607-square-foot mixed-use proposal. The city's agenda gives no reason or replacement date.

The proposed three-story building at 21 North Main Street will not be taken up as planned at Alpharetta’s Nov. 11 community zoning information meeting. The city’s agenda marks the KAJ Asher Freedom Properties item postponed by the applicant.[1]

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the City Hall council chambers at 2 Park Plaza. The North Main entry gives neither a reason for the postponement nor a replacement date.[1]

The November agenda describes a 50,607-square-foot mixed-use building on 0.84 acres downtown. The applicant seeks to change the property’s zoning from General Commercial to Downtown Core and obtain a parking special exception allowing off-site parking.[1]

The proposal also seeks smaller landscape strips along the north and east property lines, a larger maximum front setback and a larger permitted building footprint. The postponement notice announces no approval or denial of those requests.[1]
