Chaya Mushka Chabad Academy proposes relocating its private school to 4945 High Point Road in Sandy Springs. Application U-26-3 describes replacing an approved preschool use with a K–12 school, initially serving grades K–10 with a girls-only high school program planned later.[1]
The applicant says the academy currently serves approximately 150 students at its Roswell Road location. The High Point proposal would reuse an approximately 18,500-square-foot building and its 108-space parking lot, without exterior modifications or parking expansion, according to the application.[1]
The city’s register describes U-26-3 as an amendment to permit U20-0002 to allow additional staff and students and labels it an administrative deferral under staff review. It lists Planning Commission review for Nov. 18, 2026, and City Council review for Jan. 19, 2027, both at 6 p.m. Those listings are scheduled reviews, not approval.[2]
