Local brief
Tree-lighting vendor space costs $20—and a giveaway item
The Dec. 5 celebration at City Hall is free to attend. Businesses, artists, nonprofits and community groups can apply for limited vendor spaces.
Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, is inviting vendors to its Dec. 5 tree lighting for $20 plus one door-prize or gift-giveaway item. That buys space only: vendors supply their own tables, chairs and displays.[1][2]
Christmas In Chatt Hills is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 6505 Rico Road. Public admission is free, and the vendor guidelines describe it as an indoor event.[1][2]
Businesses, churches, artists and crafters, nonprofits and community groups are invited to apply. Spaces are limited and assigned first come, first served, though the city reserves the right to decline applications. Food vendors are invitation-only because of existing vendor agreements. Fees are nonrefundable unless an application is rejected.[2]
The vendor application is linked on the city’s Community Outreach webpage and calls for applicants to return the form with payment. On event day, vendor setup begins at 2 p.m.; booths must be ready by 3 p.m., an hour before the public opening.[1][2]
Applicants should ask the city to clarify the insurance terms before submitting: the guidelines require proof of liability insurance with the application, but the waiver also discusses uninsured vendors participating at their own risk. The tree-lighting packet contains Fall Festival wording as well. The city’s listed main number is 770-463-8881.[1][2]
