Chattahoochee Hills approves tax-collection changes for C-PACER financing

Chattahoochee Hills council unanimously approved two related C-PACER measures as amended on September 1, according to draft minutes. Items 26-057 and 26-058 authorize the mayor to sign, and approve, an amendment concerning the Fulton County Tax Commissioner's billing and collection responsibilities.

The packet describes added responsibilities for billing, collecting and distributing C-PACER assessment payments. The program, established in August, allows qualifying improvements to be paid for, financed or refinanced through arrangements in which participating property owners voluntarily request assessments.
