Decatur Street's 2.54-acre rezoning set for Oct. 8 after delay recommendation

Atlanta's Zoning Review Board has placed a proposed mixed residential-commercial rezoning of 2.537 acres at 460 and 478 Decatur Street SE on its Oct. 8 agenda. The proposal would replace light-industrial zoning while retaining the Beltline Overlay.

The board's Sept. 3 marked agenda recommended a 30-day deferral, with staff and Neighborhood Planning Unit M also recommending deferral. The request is identified as Z-26-49 and ordinance 26-O-1453.

The Oct. 8 meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the second-floor City Council Chambers. The October agenda schedules review; it does not record approval of the rezoning.
