A Sept. 10 Powder Springs staff report describes a proposal at 2761 Macedonia Road combining 242 apartments with approximately 5,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The site is south of Macedonia Road, west of its intersection with Ernest Barrett Parkway.

The commercial component is envisioned as an approximately 2,500-square-foot restaurant and neighborhood-serving retail; 3 percent of the apartments are proposed as workforce housing.
