Holy Innocents’ homecoming lighting permit fails on 3–4 council vote

A motion to grant Holy Innocents Episcopal School a special-event permit failed 3–4 at Sandy Springs’ Sept. 15 council meeting, leaving the city’s denial in place. The school sought temporary football-field lighting for its Oct. 2, 2026, homecoming game and celebration.
