Chattahoochee Hills targets late September for online open-records system

Staff training began in July. The city's presentation says residents cannot be required to submit requests only through a portal.

Chattahoochee Hills anticipates launching its JustFOIA open-records system during the last week of September, according to an August 24 clerk's memorandum prepared for the September 1 council meeting. Staff training began in late July and was continuing at least weekly.

The web-based system would replace a process in which staff track requests manually in an Excel log and coordinate fulfillment through the clerk. The accompanying presentation says requests arrive by email and mail and that portal-only intake cannot be required.
