Staff backs Windward veterinary clinic with weekday public hours and noise controls

Alpharetta staff recommends allowing Veterinary Dental Specialists of Atlanta to operate in a 4,257-square-foot space at Terraces at Windward, at 3070 Windward Plaza, Suites G & H-I. The clinic would provide specialty dental services and cardiovascular care to pets.

Recommended conditions limit public operating hours to 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday, while allowing after-hours work when the business is closed to the public. They also require noise-reducing tenant improvements and limit animal boarding to short-term care incidental to treatment.

Cases MP-26-12/CU-26-10 seek a Windward Master Plan Pod 4 amendment and conditional-use permission for the clinic. The staff report lists City Council consideration for Sept. 28, 2026; its recommendation is not a council approval.
