Inspection summary
The report states: “FACILITY RECEIVES KEY DROP DELIVERIES; HOWEVER, AGREEMENT IS NOT COMPLETE (NO AGREEMENT SECTION FOR FACILITY AND PROCEDURES EMPLOYEES ARE TO FOLLOW UPON RECEIPT), DELIVERY SERVICE (McCLANE) SEEMINGLY RECORDS TEMPERATURE OF WIF/WIC AND NOT ONE OR MORE TCS FOOD ITEMS AS STATED IN AGREEMENT (DELIVERY SERVICE DID NOT VERIFY WHAT THESE NUMBERS FOR 3 RECENT KEY DROPS [9/37, 20/45, & -6/36] OBSERVED WERE FOR, SO PIC ASSUMED THEY WERE FOR UNIT TEMPERATURES), PIC NOT ENSURING THAT UPON RECEIPT OF FOOD, EMPLOYEES OR MANAGEMENT ARE RECORDING THE CONDITION OF TCS FOODS AS WELL AS TEMPERATURES FOR TCS FOODS DELIVERED WHILE NO EMPLOYEES ARE PRESENT TO RECEIVE THEM IN.” [2]
The inspector also observed an employee AT DRIVE-THRU ACCEPT CASH AS PAYMENT AND MAKE AN ICE CREAM SUNDAE FOR CUSTOMER WITHOUT WASHING HANDS C/A: Food employees shall clean their hands and exposed portions of their arms immediately before engaging in food preparation including working with exposed food, clean equipment and utensils, and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles P and: (i) After touching bare human body parts other than clean hands and clean, exposed arms; P (ii) After using the toilet room; P (iii) After caring for or handling service animals or aquatic animals; P (iv) After coughing, sneezing, using a handkerchief or disposable tissue, using tobacco products or electronic devices that… [3]
A separate finding described an employee'S FINGERS TOUCH FRIES IN FRY CARTON FOR CUSTOMER C/A: Except when washing fruits and vegetables or as specified under subsection (a)4, food employees shall not contact exposed, ready-to-eat food with their bare hands and shall use suitable utensils such as deli tissue, spatulas, tongs, single-use gloves, or dispensing equipment.
