Peachtree Battle Avenue 17-foot retaining-wall request deferred to November

The Board of Zoning Adjustment deferred to November 2026 a request for a 17-foot front-yard retaining wall on Peachtree Battle Avenue NW. Case V-26-109 seeks an increase from six feet for construction of a new single-family home.

Planning staff supported a delay to give the applicant an opportunity to obtain a neighborhood planning unit recommendation after the NPU deferred the application. The board's Sept. 10 summary specifies November but does not give a day.
