Sidney Marcus Park improvement donation held, with amount unspecified

Atlanta’s Finance/Executive Committee unanimously held a proposed donation for improvements to Sidney Marcus Park on Sept. 30. Ordinance 26-O-1537 leaves the donation amount as a placeholder.

The money would come from the District 6 carry-forward account and go to Morningside Community Foundation, specifically to support Friends of Sidney Marcus Park’s planned improvements. The minutes list Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. as the next checkpoint; the hold does not authorize a payment or establish that park work has begun.
