Peachtree Battle pool applicant seeks a December delay

Planning staff recommends waiting until Dec. 10 to obtain an NPU-C recommendation. That is not yet a board-approved postponement.

The applicant behind a pool, spa and patio extension at 1030 Peachtree Battle Avenue NW is asking for more time to obtain an NPU-C recommendation. Atlanta planning staff supports the delay and recommends deferring the case to Dec. 10.[1][2]

The staff memo is dated Nov. 5. It recommends a postponement but does not record a Board of Zoning Adjustment decision, so Dec. 10 should not be treated as a confirmed replacement hearing date.[1]

We previously reported the Nov. 5 hearing listing for Kathleen Laine’s application, V-26-144. The request seeks a special exception for active recreation in a yard adjacent to a street. The published agenda lists the board meeting for noon Nov. 5 in the second-floor Council Chambers.[2]
