Explore the source documentsAtlanta’s proposal to buy electric work vehicles and charging equipment for up to $3,338,707.84 is back on the City Utilities Committee’s agenda for Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. The resolution remains listed among held papers, not as an approved purchase.[1]
Councilmember Dustin Hillis’s resolution would authorize cooperative purchasing agreements for battery-electric medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and electric-vehicle supply equipment under EcoFleet ATL. It calls for payment from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Clean Heavy-Duty Vehicles grant funds and local matching funds allocated to Aviation and Public Works’ Office of Fleet Services.[1]
The agenda repeats an Aug. 25 hold at the sponsor’s request. That notation describes an earlier action; it does not record a new hold or explain whether members will advance the proposal Oct. 13. Resolution 26-R-3949’s inclusion on the agenda establishes a scheduled opportunity for consideration, not authorization to place orders or evidence that vehicles have been delivered.[1]
