Atlanta proposal seeks study of expanding and preserving public housing

A proposed Atlanta resolution asks the city and Atlanta Housing to study opportunities to expand and preserve Section 9 public housing. Resolution 26-R-4191 seeks recommendations for increasing the city's supply of deeply affordable homes.

The requested study would examine existing inventory, potential new or replacement units, available public land, federal funding, financing tools and partnerships.
