OHM’s concession package covers concourses B and F. Council consideration is listed for Oct. 19; the committee vote does not renew the agreement.
Explore the source documentsA Hartsfield-Jackson food-and-beverage deal that changed hands through bankruptcy is a step closer to three more years. Atlanta’s Transportation Committee recommended the renewal 5–0 on Oct. 14, according to draft minutes.[1]
Resolution 26-R-4266 would renew OHM Concession Group’s Package No. 7 on concourses B and F—not all airport restaurants—from Oct. 31, 2026, through Oct. 30, 2029. Full City Council consideration is listed as pending for Oct. 19 at 1 p.m.; the committee’s recommendation is not final authorization.[1]
This is the agreement’s only three-year renewal option, and exercising it is the city’s choice—not an automatic extension. The current term runs through Oct. 30, 2026, following a pandemic-era amendment signed in 2021.[1]
The operator changed along the way. According to the resolution, Global Concessions filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April 2025, and its interest and obligations under the agreement were assigned to OHM under a court-approved asset purchase agreement dated November 2025. Atlanta acknowledged that assignment in an April 2026 amendment.[1]
The aviation general manager and chief procurement officer recommend renewal, and the resolution says OHM performs satisfactorily. The five-page resolution does not identify the individual restaurants, state rents or provide performance figures.[1]
Even if Council authorizes the renewal, it would not bind Atlanta until the mayor or a designee signs the renewal notice and delivers it to OHM.[1]
