Ordinance 26-O-1489 would cover April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, retroactively, with a $345,364.50 ceiling. An earlier version proposed eighteen months through Oct. 1, 2027. The substitute would remove Finance and Atlanta Information Management as user agencies, leaving Atlanta Police alone.

The proposal would waive competitive source-selection requirements and ratify past services while allowing time to solicit a new agreement. The committee recommendation is not an executed extension: legal review, execution, attestation and delivery are required before the amendment binds the city.
