Atlanta lists $14 million Oracle licensing proposal for Oct. 14 review

The proposed Mythics agreement carries a four-year initial term and a two-year renewal option. The $14 million ceiling covers the initial term, not an established six-year cost.

A proposed agreement capped at $14 million for Atlanta’s ATL Cloud Oracle licensing and usage is listed for Finance/Executive Committee review Oct. 14 at 1:30 p.m. The proposal would authorize an agreement with Mythics, LLC on behalf of the Department of Finance.[1]

The financial limit has an important boundary: it covers the four-year initial term. The proposal also includes one optional two-year renewal, but the agenda does not establish that renewal’s price. The $14 million figure therefore should not be read as the cost of a full six-year arrangement.[1]

Sponsored by Councilmember Alex Wan, resolution 26-R-3992 would authorize the mayor or a designee to execute the special-procurement agreement. The agenda identifies a committee-substituted version and carries a Sept. 16 notation that the measure was held for further information; it does not explain what information was requested.[1]

The meeting is scheduled for City Hall’s Larry M. Dingle Committee Room, 55 Trinity Avenue. The listing is a checkpoint for consideration—not a guarantee of a vote or evidence that the contract has been approved or signed.[1]
