Atlanta’s Finance/Executive Committee is scheduled to review a proposal Oct. 14 to add up to $883,494.50 for the Department of Watershed Management under the city’s security and video-surveillance service agreements.[1]

Resolution 26-R-4192 would authorize the mayor or a designee to execute a fifth amendment to agreements with Convergint Technologies, GC&E Systems Group and NetPlanner Systems. The proposal comes through the Department of Enterprise Asset Management and concerns citywide integrated security and video-surveillance services.[1]

The agenda entry establishes the proposed funding ceiling, not what the money would buy. It does not identify the facilities or equipment involved, the systems’ technical capabilities or how the funding would be divided among the three companies.[1]

The meeting is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in City Hall’s Larry M. Dingle Committee Room, 55 Trinity Avenue. The agenda lists the resolution for consideration; it does not establish approval of the amendment or an executed agreement.[1]
