A housing impact statement for the proposed Angier Avenue rezoning describes removing 24 affordable homes to construct 52 condos with on-site parking. The statement places the projected loss in the category affordable between 50.01% and 80% of area median income.

Ordinance 26-O-1514, zoning case Z-26-52, covers 687 and 707 Angier Avenue NE. It would replace conditional mixed-residential-commercial and light-industrial designations with mixed-residential-commercial zoning, retaining the Beltline overlay. Atlanta’s Zoning Committee unanimously referred it to committee Sept. 28, not approved the rezoning.

The housing statement relies on applicant information and, in some cases, public real-estate data. Its figures describe projected impacts of the proposal, not completed removals or an approved building plan; the statement directs readers to an issued building permit for information that may better reflect final plans.

The Zoning Review Board agenda lists the request for Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. in the second-floor City Council chambers. The scheduled review does not establish that a hearing has occurred or the rezoning has been approved.
