No Oct. 26 hearing: RV and business-vehicle parking proposal moves to Nov. 16

Alpharetta canceled its Oct. 26 council meeting. The proposed residential parking-rule amendments are now listed for a Nov. 16 first reading.

Residents following proposed changes to where business vehicles and RVs may be parked at home have a new council date: Nov. 16. Alpharetta canceled its Oct. 26, 2026, City Council meeting and moved the proposal’s first reading to the November meeting.[1]

Our earlier report listed Oct. 26 for council consideration, matching the original meeting agenda. The cancellation notice now lists the parking amendments, case PH-26-04, among the items deferred by staff to Nov. 16.[1][2]

The proposed amendments concern vehicle definitions and parking locations in residential zoning districts, through changes to Unified Development Code subsections 1.4 and 2.5.4(B). The notice schedules a first reading; it does not announce adoption of new parking rules.[1]
