Every Manning Oaks class would have a place in a student art exhibition planned for Alpharetta City Hall this November. The school would select one winner from each class, producing 32 works for the City Hall Community Room, according to the city’s Natural Resources Commission work-session summary.[1]

The Sept. 15 summary says curriculum support teacher Lisa Pittman told commissioner Herb Velazquez that all classes would participate. Commissioners discussed different types of art to make sure students of all ages could take part.[1]

The commission plans to install the artwork Nov. 3. A reception and exhibition are planned for Nov. 5 at 5 p.m., with award ribbons for participants. The display is scheduled to remain until Dec. 3.[1]

These are reported plans, not confirmation that the works have been selected or installed. The city labels its work-session summary an unofficial account of proceedings; the project update does not specify public viewing hours.[1]
