   Bare-hand contact with food

   Observed employee handling ready-to-eat foods (bun, sliced red onion, sliced tomato) with bare hands while preparing a sandwich.// Except when washing fruits and vegetables, food employees shall not contact exposed, ready-to-eat food with their bare hands and shall use suitable utensils such as deli tissue, spatulas, tongs, single-use gloves, or dispensing equipment. (P) Corrective Actions: Food was discarded. Employee put on gloves before continuing to prepare food.//
