Bowden senior center sewer damage prompts proposed plumbing and carpet spending

Fulton County’s Oct. 7 agenda seeks increased spending authority for repairs following sewer-line damage at the HJC Bowden Senior Multipurpose Center, 2885 Church Street in East Point.

Item 26-0667 requests up to $80,000 with J2 Connect, Inc. for a high-priority plumbing replacement or repair job involving a damaged sewer line in the kitchen. Item 26-0668 requests up to $50,000 with HPI Floor, LLC for carpet replacement due to sewer-line damage. Both requests would take effect upon commissioners’ approval.
