Austell Powder Springs Road food-truck park seeks permit renewal

The application proposes no change to the use. Planning and council public hearings are scheduled for Oct. 26 and Nov. 2.

Murrell White is seeking renewal of the special-use permit for the food-truck park and commissary at 3982 Austell Powder Springs Road in Powder Springs. Case PZ 26-039 is listed for the Planning and Zoning Commission’s Oct. 8, 2026, work session at 7 p.m.[1][2]

White’s application says he wants to continue operating his food truck at the site, with no changes. It describes the property’s existing use as a food-truck park and commissary and identifies truck parking, a base of operations and commissary use as the proposed activities.[3]

The notice schedules a planning commission public hearing for Oct. 26 and a Mayor and Council public hearing for Nov. 2, both at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 4483 Pineview Drive. The records establish a renewal request and scheduled reviews, not permit approval.[1][2]
