Two ordinances on Atlanta City Council’s Sept. 21 consent agenda proposed accepting grants for construction of Atlanta Beltline Southside Trail Segment 6. One concerns up to $2 million from a congressionally directed federal highway program; the other concerns up to $5 million from a transportation-improvement program grant through the Atlanta Regional Commission.

Both would add their respective amounts to the fiscal 2027 intergovernmental budget. The agenda says consent items came forward for a motion to adopt; it does not record a Council vote or establish that either grant has been accepted.
