A five-unit townhome development proposed for 1199 North Highland Avenue NE is scheduled for Atlanta Board of Zoning Adjustment review Oct. 8. The application seeks to reduce the side yard adjoining an R-4 residential district from 20 to 9 feet and the rear yard adjoining that district from 20 to 10 feet.

It also seeks to raise the permitted height for structures within 100 feet of a single-family residential district from 35 to 45.8 feet. The property fronts Amsterdam Avenue near its intersection with North Highland Avenue. The agenda lists the request for review; it does not grant the variances.
