Atlanta’s Zoning Committee voted 4–1 in favor of a proposal to stop accepting new applications to subdivide property into three or more lots in City Council District 8 for 180 days. The Sept. 14 committee minutes identify the ordinance as 26-O-1509.

If adopted, the measure would pause acceptance of those new subdivision applications within the district. The recorded vote is a favorable committee action, not the start of a moratorium.
