Airport rental car center contract proposed for $4.91 million extension

An ordinance on Atlanta’s Sept. 30 Transportation Committee agenda proposes adding up to $4,906,888 to the airport Rental Car Center operations and maintenance agreement with Meridian Urban Joint Venture. It would extend the agreement for up to six months, from Oct. 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027.

The agreement covers building repairs and systems including vertical transportation, HVAC, electrical and plumbing. The proposed extension could end sooner if the city awards a replacement contract under its pending procurement. The agenda lists a proposed amendment, not an executed one.
