Alpharetta’s Lights on the Loop is planning two different holiday outings: a free, one-mile light walk every night, and four evenings with entertainment and a vendor village. Choosing a date means choosing which experience to visit.[1][2]

The Alpha Loop Foundation’s event page lists the nightly display for Dec. 4, 2026, through Jan. 4, 2027, from 5:30–11 p.m. The illuminated route runs between Northwinds Parkway and Old Milton Parkway.[1][2]

Dec. 4–5 brings a holiday music showcase featuring the Alpharetta Symphony, Alpharetta City Band and local musicians. Dec. 18–19 is the pet-friendly weekend, with the planned Llamas on the Loop experience. Both weekends run from 5:30–8:30 p.m.; performers and animal appearances are subject to change.[1]

On those four evenings, Lights & Delights Village behind 2500 Northwinds Parkway is planned to offer artisan vendors, food and nonalcoholic drinks for purchase, and family entertainment. One practical distinction matters for anyone visiting another night: Awesome Alpharetta’s event guide says portable toilets will be available only during the themed weekends.[1]

The guide lists free parking at 2500 and 2520 Northwinds Parkway, with an accessible ramp to the trail behind 2520.[1]

For the themed weekends, the foundation directs visitors to register free through its linked Eventbrite listing. The organizer calls registration required; Awesome Alpharetta calls it strongly encouraged. The foundation says no registration is needed for the nightly light display.[1][2]

One schedule caveat deserves a recheck before a visit. The foundation’s event page and its sponsorship package in the city’s September agenda packet both list Dec. 4–Jan. 4. A separate foundation sponsorship webpage instead lists Dec. 1–Jan. 3, although it agrees on all four themed evenings.[2][3][4]
